Malta Air is the Maltese subsidiary under Ryanair Holdings PLC. The low cost carrier took over Ryanair service operations from Malta, effective 29-Mar-2020. Ryanair's fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft based at Malta International Airport was transferred to the new subsidiary and given a new livery.
